Subject: Important Notice: Erratic Driving and Stunting on Newly Improved Roads

Dear Residents,

We hope this message finds you well. As many of you are aware, our community has recently invested in significant improvements to our roadways. These enhancements are designed to create a safer and more enjoyable driving experience for everyone.

However, it has come to our attention that some residents are engaging in erratic driving behaviors and stunting that are damaging these newly improved roads. Such actions not only jeopardize the integrity of our infrastructure but also pose serious safety risks to our community members.

Effective immediately, please be advised that any instances of reckless driving, stunting, or any other behavior that negatively affects our roadways may result in strict fines and involvement of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). We take these matters seriously and will enforce penalties to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents.

We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining the quality and safety of our roads. Please talk to the young drivers in your households. Remind these younger drivers there are bylaws in place regulating vehicle operation in the Village. Excessive noise/burn outs or shooting of gravel/spinning out on freshly repaired roads will be investigated and substantial charges may be laid. Operator’s of dirt bikes and quads also must abide under the Traffic Safety Act and the All-Terrain Vehicle Act, as such, Muenster does not authorize ATV’s on Village streets. Dirt bikes and quads that are causing disturbances on the newly repaired streets will be met with enforcement fines and possible impounding of vehicles. Let’s work together to ensure our community remains a safe and pleasant place to live.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter.

Sincerely,
Jan Sylvestre
Chief Administrative Officer
Village of Muenster
