Cats at Large .Please note the Village of Muenster is aware that there has been cats roaming within the Village. We recognize that at this time of the year the animals may be more noticeable as they attempt to look for warmer accommodations as the weather changes. We do have an Animal Control Officer who currently has two active traps out for strays and is moving them around to attempt to catch the cats. Most of the time, the cats are too smart and will eat the trap bait without tripping the door. We ask that residents who observe strays, IF they are able to, detain them in an enclosed area and then call the Village office 306-682-2794. We will have our officer come and pickup the stray as soon as possible.
The Village has a mandatory pet licensing requirement. Cats must be licensed at $10 per year if they are pets within the Village of Muenster. Cats which are caught while roaming free without a tag have no way to be identified or returned to their owner.
