Muenster Community Centre

Muenster Community Centre serves as the social heart of the village, hosting numerous community gatherings and events throughout the year. Along with concerts, recitals, and dances, the Community Centre is also available to rent for special occasions: weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, reunions, meetings, and fundraisers. The upstairs, with a capacity of 300, provides an elevated stage and a bar area, while the downstairs provides a well equipped kitchen and dining area. The Community Centre is supported by fundraising groups which plan events throughout the year. Muenster School of Dance

girl-dance-music-movement-wallpaperThe Munster School of Dance offers instruction and performance opportunities for youth in the Muenster area. Classes run on a weekly basis from early September until the recital in late March. Instruction is available in ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz, and swing. St. Peter’s Chorus

St. Peter’s Cchorushorus is a choir of mixed voices with a long proud history at St. Peter’s College, Muenster, Saskatchewan, Canada. Members come from the surrounding towns and farms.  The chorus was formed in 1967 by Al Gerwing and has been blessed with very talented directors and accompanists over the many years of its existence. Maxine Moore first began directing the chorus in 1987 and she is the current director.  Denise Germain has been the piano accompanist since 1989.  Under their skillful leadership the chorus prepares a repertoire of music for two Christmas concerts and two spring concerts along with some festival selections. Ceramics Club

Muenster Ccera_02eramics Club is a wonderful outlet for youth and adults to pursue their interests in transforming raw white ware into stunning and personal pieces of art. The club gathers on a weekly basis from October to April. Sharing resources and expertise, the Club welcomes members of all ages and skill levels.  Parkland Regional Library – Muenster Branch

The MueMuenster-150x150nster Branch of the Parkland Regional Library provides books, periodicals, media materials and community access Internet to the area. During summer months, children’s programming and reading clubs keep youth connected with literacy.  Hours are: Tuesday 10:30 am to 4:30 pm, Wednesday 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm, and Thursday 1 pm to 5 pm. Writing and Art

Muenster and St. Peter’s College have long been known as a colony and retreat centre for writers and artists from all over the world. The idyllic surroundings provide the ideal setting for new or ongoing works. As well, St. Peter’s College offers university classes, workshops, certificate programs that cater to writers and artists at all levels. Muenster Playground Committee
