Get your hazardous household waste ready for disposal with REACT.
REACT will be hosting a free event to collect hazardous waste found in and around your household for all residents within the REACT waste management district.
REACT will be accepting physically hazardous objects, aerosols, flammable liquids, corrosives, toxic materials, and pesticides. Waste must be commonly found within the household, have the original containers and labels, and be able to be sealed.
Paint in any container will not be accepted but can be dropped off at all SARCAN recycling depots at no charge.
These events will take place on:
- Tuesday, August 17 at St. Brieux Transfer Station from 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm
- Wednesday, August 18 at Watson Transfer Station from 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm
- Thursday, August 19 at Wakaw Transfer Station from 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm
- Friday, August 20 at Watrous Transfer Station from 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm
- Saturday, August 21 at Humboldt Transfer Station from 9:00 pm – 3:00 pm
