Wildlife In Town

With the extreme cold and deep snow, there have been several sightings of wildlife in town, including these two. Moose, deer, coyotes and other wildlife may move closer in search of food and shelter.
A Few Safety Tips:
- Stay alert, maintain a safe distance
- Be cautious while driving
- Do not feed wildlife
- Keep pets leashed, avoid confrontation
- Secure garbage and food sources
- Report concerning behavior, aggression or distress to your local conservation officer – 1-800-667-7561

Water Meter Readings
You may see our new foreman, Nick, out about this week as he completes his first water meter read cycle with us. He is looking forward to meeting and getting to know residents so if you do see him say hello!
We kindly ask all residents to ensure that pucks are easily accessible with snow cleared so that readings can be obtained. If that is not possible, please call the Village Office at 682-2794 or email muenster@sasktel.net with your meter reading for January usage. Thanks in advance for your help in ensuring we have accurate and timely meter reads.

New Public Works Foreman: Nick Vanderveen
We are extending a warm welcome to the new member on our team. Nick Vanderveen has joined us as the Muenster Public Works Foreman. Nick and his family are settled in Bruno, Sask. Nick and his family have some existing ties to Muenster as they enjoy participating in Muenster’s ball program in spring and summer months.
Nick has water and sewer operator training and experience in the field of public works infrastructure. In Nick’s short time he has been with us he has caught himself up to speed on our pumps, water and sewer lines and the history of what’s been completed in the past with our roads and transportation infrastructure. We look forward to Nick’s contributions within the community and to our team. If you would like to meet or discuss any topics regarding public works please call the office to schedule an appointment or drop in to say hello.
