SGI Traffic Safety grant program has assisted the Village of Muenster with the purchase of 3 new digital speed signs. Motorists will see two new signs flashing at them if they exceed the 100km/hr speed limit along Hwy 5 as they pass by Muenster. The intent of the traffic speed signs is to draw attention to drivers’ speed within areas of high traffic and near access points adjacent to Muenster. The third sign has been located on College Avenue within Village limits for approximately 8 months. Data can be collected such as time and date of excessive speeds. Please slow down if you see these signs flashing at you as it is an indication you are above speed limits.
