Sewer Issues in the Cold Weather. Please be advised to check your basements for any indication that your sewer line may be frozen. With the cold temperatures the Village has experienced a sewer line freeze up on Phillips Street on sewer lines that were 8′ underground. To avoid any issues please take time to regularly check on your sump pumps and plumbing during such long stretches of cold weather.
