Reminder for proper landfill usage.Muenster’s landfill is a decommissioned dump that ONLY accepts organic material. NO PLASTICS, that includes the bags that leaves are transported in, or garbage of any kind. NO LUMBER or discarded pieces of treated wood.
At the dump you will find:
1. A tree/branch pile on the Southeast corner, use that for tree, shrub, and branch cuts.
2. A compost pile in the middle of the dump, use this for compostable materials such as: leaves, grass cuttings, produce peelings, dead houseplants, etc. **Please note residents are free to use the valuable decomposed soil in this pile for their gardens and flower beds.
Please help us keep our landfill organized and the compost pile decomposing as it should by only putting allowable materials on it. Thankyou for your help everyone! Happy Gardening!
