The Muenster Sports Club works in co-operation with St. Peter’s College and with other community agencies to provide the village’s sports and recreation facilities, including the arena at St. Peter’s College. Muenster has produced exceptional curlers who have gone on to compete nationally and in world competitions at the junior level. Muenster and neighboring St. Gregor are the homes of Saskatchewan’s Briar contending Korte brothers and Muyres brothers. Currently, the Muenster Curling Club offers Men’s and Ladies’ Leagues, Mixed Leagues, School Super Leagues along with mini-spiels and annual Men’s and Women’s Bonspiels. The upstairs lounge is available to rent for gatherings or special meetings. Muenster Curling Club is proud to promote itself as the best two sheet artificial ice facility in Saskatchewan. The Village of Muenster has been synonymous with the sport of baseball for over 100 years since the inception of the village. Since then, Muenster has been a hotbed of baseball having fielded provincial championship teams at nearly all levels. All these accomplishments have led to Muenster’s induction into the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame (2014).
