Along with Muenster’s own community services, many facilities and supports are available in the city of Humboldt, only 10 km away.

Fire Department and Policing

Muenster himgp3as a local volunteer fire department, which serves the Village and assists adjacent fire departments in emergencies. The department consists of numerous volunteers that are available 24 hours a day. In emergencies, the fire department is available through the 911 service. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a detachment located in the City of Humboldt (just 10 kms from Muenster) which serves Muenster. Emergency contact is through the 911 service.

Health Care

Only 10 km ahumboldt_complex_Jan2011way, the Humboldt District Health Complex.   The complex offers expanded ambulatory care, emergency and diagnostic space, and delivers a wide array of integrated health services at one location. Refuse and Recycling

The Villageearth of Muenster’s waste removal service is provided under contract with REACT Waste Management. Pickup days are everyday Tuesday. Recycle bins are located at the east end of Railway Street, adjacent to Bunz Electric. The village also operates a composite recycle site for tree and garden refuse only.
